Editing

Editing enables you to change a program by adding more material and cutting out unwanted footage. You can have scenes removed or added from a variety of media including videos, DVD’s, slides and photos. We can very accurately cut scenes within fractions of a second and add music, transitions and 3-D effects.

 

We have three digital editing suites with a large range of special effects and titles.

 

DVD Slideshows can be assembled from all formats including slides, photos and video with music and titles added. They are suitable for many occasions including parties, funerals, birthdays, and anniversaries.

 

They can either have a menu that stays on the screen until you press play or they can automatically play when you insert the DVD into the player. A third option is to have them run in a continuous repeating loop that will play until you press stop.

 

DVD PRODUCTION & AUTHORING

We can make your DVD more user-friendly with the following options -
DVDs can be supplied so they will automatically run when they are placed in the player, or we can add a menu that will come up on the screen first.

 

Menus can be simple or they can have multiple choices of programs or enable you to go to any starting point that you have nominated.

 

For a truly professional product we can also design and create a multiple menu structure to suit your requirements. Menus can also have music playing in the background.

 

Chapters can be added at any point throughout the DVD and there is no limit on the number of chapters you can have.

 

MPEG ENCODING AND FILE CONVERSION

We can convert almost all formats to and from Quicktime, AVI, WMA, WMV.

 

Mpeg encodings - Mpeg1, Mpeg 2 and  Mpeg suitable for emails.

 

Mpeg files will play on Windows media. Mpeg 2 will give higher quality but uses more disc space.

 

We can convert from the following formats - SVHS, VHS, DVCam, Mini DV, Compact C-Format, Hi 8, Digital 8 or Umatic to CD-Rom and DVD.

 

OLD SOUND RECORDINGS AND RECORDS TO CD.

We can convert sound recordings from audio cassette, reel to reel tape and quarter inch tape to CD.

 

We can also convert vinyl records -78rpm, 45rpm and 3rpm to CD.

 

Have a compilation CD made up with your favourite tracks from several records.

 

Soundtracks from all video formats to CD.
